Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled leader to join our Academic Leadership Team as an Associate Director of Inclusive Education. This key role plays a crucial part in shaping inclusive practices, student achievement and staff development across the institution.

This is a full-time appointment with a 0.2 FTE teaching load.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personalised Learning Pathways – Establish strong relationships with students, families and staff to support tailored learning approaches.
  • Curriculum Differentiation – Lead innovative approaches to curriculum enrichment and extension programs.
  • Inclusive Teaching Practices – Foster collaboration and professional growth to enhance high-impact teaching strategies.
  • Compliance and Access – Champion diversity, equity and access, ensuring best practice in learning support.
  • Tailored Support – Empower students to reach their potential through targeted support, challenge and enrichment opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A Bachelor of Education or a Graduate Diploma in Education and/or another relevant degree.
  • Current registration and Working With Children (WWC) clearance.
  • Demonstrated leadership in learning enhancement, enrichment, or inclusive education.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice in differentiation and intervention strategies.
  • Proven ability to use data to inform planning and measure outcomes.
  • Commitment to institutional values and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Success Criteria
  • Proven leadership in Inclusive Education (LE, G&T, EAL/D) across K–12.
  • Strong knowledge of disability, neurodiversity, giftedness, and cultural/linguistic diversity.
  • Demonstrated experience in compliance and legal requirements.
  • Ability and willingness to uphold and model the institution's Values.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and build capacity in teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents, staff, and students.
  • Commitment to innovative practice and evidence-informed approaches.
