About the Job

This role requires safe shunting duties, marshalling locomotives and rail wagons in preparation for departure, and providing crucial communications to incoming and outgoing rail services.

The job involves working hours based on a 24/7 forward rotating roster, averaging 38 hours per week.

The position may require shift coverage at multiple terminals over the roster cycle.

  • Full Driver's licence
  • General computer proficiency is required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills, prioritising workloads and able to adapt to a changing work environment.
  • Previous experience in heavy industry, logistics or transport would be advantageous.
  • A mechanical, processing or similar working background is desired.
