Job Title: Assistant Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Coordinator to join our team at St Pius OSHC at Banyo. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in program planning, delivery, and documentation.
  • Support staff rostering and supervision.
  • Contribute to administration and financial management tasks.
  • Assist in delivering a high-quality, inclusive, educational program.
  • Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
  • Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the Coordinator.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework, and National Law/Regulations.
  • Experience in the education and care of children.
  • Effective computer skills, including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
  • Effective workplace communication and leadership skills.
