Community Venue Manager

This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead the operations and management of a prominent community venue. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless event execution, fostering partnerships, and driving activation initiatives.
Key responsibilities include preparing the venue for functions, events, and meetings; identifying and facilitating touring shows and performances; managing event enquiries, scheduling, staffing, and service delivery.
To succeed in this position, you will require strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate IV qualification (or higher) relevant to the position and possess at least five years of experience in venue management, hospitality, and/or event coordination.
About You- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Experience representing and successfully marketing venue facilities and events
- High-level written and verbal communication skills including demonstrated ability to positively influence, persuade and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week. The total remuneration package includes a base salary and superannuation benefits.
