About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled clinical negligence specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our clinical negligence department, you will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload of complex cases, from inception through to trial.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of high-value cases, providing expert advice and guidance to clients and other stakeholders
  • Collaborating with senior lawyers to develop and implement case strategies
  • Conducting thorough research and analysis to identify opportunities for claimant success
  • Preparing and presenting written and oral submissions in court
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely communication with clients and other parties
Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering exceptional client service, ensuring that all clients receive prompt, professional, and personalized attention
  • Building strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and external stakeholders to drive business growth and success
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends to maintain expertise and competitiveness
  • Mentoring and training junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Recent experience of handling a caseload of complex cases
  • NQ-5 years PQE or equivalent experience working in clinical negligence
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and drafting skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and demands
