About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled clinical negligence specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our clinical negligence department, you will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload of complex cases, from inception through to trial.
Your primary duties will include:
- Managing a portfolio of high-value cases, providing expert advice and guidance to clients and other stakeholders
- Collaborating with senior lawyers to develop and implement case strategies
- Conducting thorough research and analysis to identify opportunities for claimant success
- Preparing and presenting written and oral submissions in court
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely communication with clients and other parties
- Delivering exceptional client service, ensuring that all clients receive prompt, professional, and personalized attention
- Building strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and external stakeholders to drive business growth and success
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends to maintain expertise and competitiveness
- Mentoring and training junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge
- Promoting a culture of excellence, respect, and inclusivity within the team

To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Recent experience of handling a caseload of complex cases
- NQ-5 years PQE or equivalent experience working in clinical negligence
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and drafting skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and demands
