Truck and Trailer Technician Apprentice Opportunity

About this opportunity:

  • Learn valuable skills to build a strong foundation for your future in the commercial trailer industry.

This apprenticeship is a 4-year opportunity to work with tankers and fire trucks at a local facility, gaining hands-on experience and learning from experienced tradespeople.

You will be involved in maintaining, servicing, and assisting in the manufacture and repair of LPG and Fuel Trucks and Trailers as well as Fire Trucks.

This role requires commitment to completing the 4-year apprenticeship and includes all training fees and PPE provided.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to gain a Nationally recognised Certificate III Heavy Commercial Trailer Technology and be supported by a dedicated consultant throughout their employment.

Key requirements:
  • Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
  • Must be committed to a 4-stage / year apprenticeship
  • Must have a Driver's License and reliable car as there is no public transport available
  • Having a starter set of hand tools (desirable but not essential)
  • Confined space ticket (desirable but not essential, as can be organised later)

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about hands-on work and wants to learn new skills and experiences.
