Mccosker Contracting is seeking an experienced heavy earthmoving equipment mechanic to work in the Northern Territory. The successful candidate will have a trade qualification and extensive experience working on CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu, and Volvo equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on safety and quality. They will be able to perform routine maintenance and repairs, conduct fault finding and troubleshooting, read and interpret schematics, and maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy earthmoving equipment
  • Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting to identify and rectify issues

Requirements:

  • Trade Qualification
  • Minimum 3+ years proven experience in heavy earthmoving equipment maintenance and repair
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Current Driver Licence (Desirable)
  • Construction Card (White or Blue)
  • High Risk Forklift Licence (Desirable)
  • Able to pass a full pre-employment medical including functional assessment and drug and alcohol screening
