Emergency Department Role

This position involves delivering high-quality patient care in the emergency department, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional health outcomes.

  • Participate in daily handovers and contribute to the development of treatment plans for patients presenting to the emergency department.
  • Collaborate effectively with other medical staff, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide timely and effective communication to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Contribute to the ongoing education and training of junior medical staff.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Current AHPRA registration is necessary.
  • Completion of NSW Health online training modules is mandatory.
  • Immunisations/vaccinations are also required.
  • Fellowship & CPD Certificate (if applicable) is desirable.
