Field Service Technician Job Description

NCR Atleos, a leader in expanding financial access, is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician. This role involves optimizing the branch, improving operational efficiency, and maximizing self-service availability for financial institutions and retailers across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and repair Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs), networking equipment, and other products.
  2. Manage and organize parts to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
  3. Participate in continuous training to stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices.
  4. Work autonomously in the field and office to resolve customer issues efficiently.
  5. Travel as required, including interstate travel, and handle tools and parts weighing 1-20kg; perform bending, squatting, walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in PC hardware and software repair.
  • Preferred: Experience in electro-mechanical device repair, ATM and Self-Serve Checkout repairs, and network experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with electromechanical equipment.
  • A valid driver's license and proof of residency are mandatory.
  • A high level of attention to detail and ability to work independently.
