In this role, you will collaborate directly with the delivery team, contractors, and clients, granting you the autonomy to manage your scope effectively and deliver precise project schedules in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee production to ensure optimal resource allocation for each project.
  • Create detailed plans and work schedules, incorporating visual aids such as bar charts and diagrams.
  • Utilize specialized fabrication and planning software, including Primavera, to establish project timelines.
  • Develop logistics plans and progress schedules for ongoing projects.
  • Track project advancement throughout the fabrication phase.
  • Assess progress against client timelines and uphold contract deadlines.
  • Communicate with clients and subcontractors as necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive historical data for all projects.
  • Select suitable techniques, sequences, and equipment for each project.
  • Evaluate fabrication methods and systems with a continuous focus on enhancement and cost efficiency.
  • Adhere to company standards for Quality Assurance.
  • Provide accurate reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as required.
About You
  • Possess tertiary qualifications in structural, mechanical, civil engineering, or construction management.
  • Demonstrate proficient skills and knowledge in Primavera 6.
  • Have prior experience in a heavy construction planning role.
  • Bring previous project experience in construction, ideally within the mining or oil and gas sectors.
  • Hold a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
