Embedded Linux Field Engineer - Remote Opportunity

  • We are seeking a skilled Embedded Linux Field Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Linux, Debian or Ubuntu, and distribution/packaging experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging customers during the presales process, elaborating solutions to propose to prospective clients, participating in project delivery, and conveying market requirements to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage customers during presales to gather requirements and explain technology.
  2. Elaborate solutions to propose to prospective clients.
  3. Participate in the delivery of select projects related to Embedded Linux.
  4. Convey market requirements to key stakeholders and contribute to development or refinement of generic solutions to unlock market potential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">
  • Fluent in Mandarin and willing to travel to China regularly.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Extensive Linux experience, Debian or Ubuntu preferred.
  • Distribution/Packaging experience (deb, rpm, ...)
  • Solid embedded Linux experience (Yocto, Buildroot, ...)
  • Fluency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
  • Professional written and spoken English in addition to the local language.
