Test Analyst

About the Role
PDS-Tech-IDS is seeking a skilled Test Analyst to support the test planning, execution, and reporting within our small, highly-skilled, and supportive team. As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for performing requirements analysis, deriving test scenarios, and executing tests to ensure the quality of our Saas product offerings to the Government sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform requirements analysis and derive test scenarios based on fundamental test analysis techniques.
- Analyse and assess requirements for relevance and accuracy.
- Test execution including exploratory testing, system testing, and defect retesting.
- Work with our market-leading Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal software, Automated Valuation Models, and state-of-the-art geospatial products.
- Defect management including reporting of defects, participation in defect triage, and defect re-testing.
- Contribute to the success of the test automation efforts by aligning with the automation strategy.
- Understand, participate in, and contribute to the Agile processes observed by the team.
- Maintain documentation across multiple projects and releases within our Saas product.
- Keep up to date with the latest test tools and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience with software test analysis, execution, and defect management.
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to hit the ground running and be immediately effective.
- Proactive attitude to get in front of people and take the lead on discussions.
- Proficient in the Software Development Lifecycle.
