About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the product management and delivery of Operations Management within the IELTS operations team at IDP Education Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Commercial Management
    • Develop a consolidated Product Roadmap for Operations Management, aligning with the company's strategic objectives and working with Product Owners to develop delivery plans.
    • Manage current products to create amazing Test Centre and Test Taker experiences, focusing on the product lifecycle, new product development, and process improvements to drive efficiencies and deliver on business objectives.
    • Leverage market, competitor, Test Taker, Test Centre, Partner, and digital insights to inform forward-looking roadmap and product plan.
    • Develop the case for change, investment business cases (where required), and canvasses, including forecasting and mapping to key metrics and ROI tracking.
    • Communicate Product Strategy and Roadmap with key stakeholders for input and alignment.
  • Commercial and Partner Management
    • Develop a core value proposition for Operations Management products, integrating and connecting Test Centre Experience with Test Taker and Partner Experiences, supporting physical and digital Test Taker interactions, omnichannel experience, and lifecycle.
    • Report key metrics impacting business performance, including tracking of benefits realization (from new products and improvements).
    • Leverage data from across the platform and work with the data team to identify opportunities such as 'next best action' or gaps that could be addressed which would improve commercial outcomes.
  • Test-taker First
    • Advocate for the Test Centre Experience within the scope of the Operations Management products.
    • Continually walk in the Test Takers' shoes across the digital and physical platforms for continuous improvement via a prioritized backlog being actively worked on by the required teams.
    • Collaborate with CX and research teams to facilitate regular co-design to enable a complete understanding of Test Taker needs.
  • Planning and Delivery
    • Ensure the Test Taker journey on digital and non-digital platforms is optimized for experience and conversion outcomes.
    • Work with associated product delivery teams to deliver the required product roadmap in line with strategy, business planning, and practical needs anchored to network and Test Taker feedback.
    • Manage initiatives in the roadmap across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, coordinating, and managing dependencies in release schedules.
    • Create go-to-market and change management plans with key stakeholders to optimize Test Taker, business, and operational adoption and performance.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead Product Owners to ensure effective implementation of the product strategy, roadmap, and performance objectives.
    • Cascade goals and business objectives specific to delivery to ensure Test Taker and business outcomes.
    • Support, guide, and mentor Product Owners as part of PI Planning with application of Agile practices.
    • Deliver on Test Taker/Centre and business outcomes through people enabling the best outcomes through team capabilities.
    • Foster a team culture that is about outcomes and collaborative ways of working for the benefit of our Test Takers.
