Regulatory Officer - A Key Role in Education and Care

The Queensland Department of Education seeks a Regulatory Officer to fill vacancies across the state.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to achieve regulatory outcomes.
  • Conduct assessments and ratings of education and care services.
About the Role

As a Regulatory Officer, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of children attending early childhood education and care services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Applying legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines consistently and fairly.
  • Maintaining collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience as a regulator or the ability to acquire knowledge rapidly.
  • Strong analytical skills and written communication abilities.
  • Decision-making skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
