Merchandising Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Merchandiser to join our team on a part-time basis.

  • Selling and merchandising amazing products within retail stores;
  • Maintaining high standards of presentation and driving sales through product placement and storytelling;
  • Managing in-store presence of brands and looking for opportunities;
  • Executing and delivering on promotional set up and activity;

To succeed in this role, you will have proven customer service experience, an understanding of fashion, and a passion for making a difference.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity to work independently and as part of a wholesale team within Myer/David Jones stores. You will be responsible for selling and merchandising our amazing product, maintaining high standards of presentation, and managing stock flow.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Selling and merchandising our amazing product within Myer/David Jones
  2. Maintaining a high standard of presentation driving sales through product placement and storytelling
  3. Managing in-store presence of our brands and looking for opportunities
  4. Executing and delivering on promotional set up and activity
  5. Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with retailers
  6. Providing feedback on key product success, challenges, and overall category performance
  7. Proactively working towards exceeding goals in an autonomous and responsible way
  8. Participating in a motivated and supportive team
