Job Responsibilities

As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer at Alcoa, you will learn, grow, and develop hands-on experience and expertise in:

  • Supporting residue teams and site Civil and Senior Geotechnical Engineers in handling dam safety, preparing facility plans and applying standard methodology engineering technology.
  • Providing engineering input into the design and maintenance of the residue storage facilities.
  • Contributing towards the refinery and residue EH&S and provide insight into problem resolution for bauxite residue assets.
  • Providing input towards the WA residue capital planning, approval and review process.
  • Monitoring civil engineering design and construction QA.
