Senior Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead projects, drive quality outcomes and mentor junior staff across residential, civil and forensic engineering disciplines.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead structural design for low to mid-rise developments ensuring compliance with Australian Standards.
  • Investigate and report on structural issues for insurers, strata managers and NCAT clients.
  • Design civil structures including retaining walls, culverts and drainage pits.
  • Mentor junior engineers and guide their technical development in a consulting environment.
  • Liaise directly with architects, builders and clients to deliver efficient project outcomes.
  • Support business development through tenders, presentations and client engagement opportunities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or nearing attainment.
  • 10+ years' experience in a consulting environment.
  • Proficient in concrete, steel and timber design to Australian Standards.
  • Experience with software such as SpaceGass, RAPT or similar preferred.
  • Skilled in writing clear, concise forensic or technical reports.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
