Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead our $40 million dollar project in Geelong. As the liaison between Researchers and Industry, you will be responsible for keeping the project on track against set milestones.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical part in a sustainable eco-friendly manufacturing initiative. You will work closely with the Business Manager to ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope and budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Provide expert project management advice and plan detailed project plans, including managing risks and issues.
  • Liaison and Communication: Foster collaboration across teams and with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and engagement at all levels.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain high-level relationships with government bodies and governing organizations.
  • Project Monitoring: Lead and monitor milestones, identify roadblocks, and research misalignment.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A postgraduate qualification or extensive relevant experience (minimum 5 years).
  • Demonstrated experience in program and/or project management using various methodologies, tools, and practices.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
