Occupational Therapist Job Overview

This is an opportunity to work as a skilled occupational therapist in a community-based role. We welcome new graduates and offer a supportive environment for growth and development.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification in occupational therapy, registration with the relevant authority, and a driver's license. They will also require Working with Vulnerable People, NDIS Worker Screening, and Police Check.

About the Role

As an occupational therapist at our organization, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team providing evidence-based services through a blend of community, telehealth, and centre-based care. This mobile role allows flexibility to work from home or our hubs when not with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat clients with diverse needs (paediatrics + adults)
  • Support NDIS goals and functional outcomes
  • Provide AT assessments and recommendations
  • Write clear, timely reports
  • Manage a varied caseload and meet clinical targets
  • Collaborate with families, referrers and other stakeholders
  • Engage in regular supervision and professional development
