Job Description:
Rewrite the role for a perinatal infant mental health service, focusing on nurturing healthy attachment relationships across the lifespan.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced level psychology services, including individualized and group clinical care reflecting current ethical practice.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored care plans to monitor client progress.
  • Cultivate effective multidisciplinary teamwork through professional communication with colleagues, clients, and support networks.
  • Maintain confidentiality while ensuring adherence to legal and ethical responsibilities.
  • Keep accurate clinical records in line with service policies, ACHS requirements, and legislation.
  • Engage in reflective practice and commit to ongoing professional development.
  • Contribute to program design and implementation relevant to client needs and current clinical best practices.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapies and experience working within the perinatal mental health field.
  • Eligibility for a Medicare provider number and possession of full AHPRA registration along with Psychology Board of Australia endorsement for clinical psychology.
