
Senior Manager Forensic Investigations

The role of a forensic management professional is to lead and manage teams in investigating complex financial crimes and risks. This involves providing comprehensive solutions across various industries, with a focus on the financial services sector.
The team sits within the market-leading risk and regulatory practice and specialises in delivering exceptional client outcomes while managing and developing a team of consultants. The opportunity to work on high-profile client projects and across the breadth of domains within the risk and regulatory consulting practice makes this a dynamic and fast-growing team to join.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage responsibility in the delivery of high-profile F&FC engagements with many of Australia's most iconic organisations.
- Client relationship management.
- Management and development of Consultants within the team.
- Assist with practice and engagement management.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years + experience working in a consulting environment.
- Understanding of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/ CTF) Act and Rules.
- Understanding of fraud, scams, and bribery and corruption risks and typologies.
- Experience with AML/ CTF risk management practices, internal control functions and operations, specifically in relation to financial crime metrics and reporting, know your customer (KYC) guidelines, enhanced customer due diligence (ECDD), watchlist screening, transaction monitoring (TM) and investigations.
- Experience conducting AML/ CTF Program Independent Reviews.
- Understanding of the regulatory technology landscape for AML/ CTF, fraud, and scams.
- Experience working with large-scale remediation, transformation, and regulatory change programs.
- Experience with fact-finding investigations and coordinating response to large-scale regulatory enquiries.
- Experience with whistleblower management programs.
- The ability to work with clients to design and implement end-to-end risk management frameworks and processes.
- Effective project management skills.
- Relevant graduate and postgraduate qualifications.
