Forensic Accountant Role Summary

This role involves contributing to the execution of forensic investigations, disputes, project administration and risk management on a range of engagements.

  • Manage all aspects of forensic accounting engagements primarily involving damages assessments, valuations and financial investigations.
  • Prepare and review detailed financial models in Excel, including analysing profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts in order to prepare a DCF analysis.
  • Write reports and other deliverables for review by Managing and Senior Managing Directors.
  • Manage client expectations and job administration.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree with a major in Accounting, Commerce or Law. CA/CPA certification is desirable. The successful candidate will also have experience in an accounting, internal audit, risk, compliance, enforcement or similar role.

  1. Highly knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
  2. Naturally curious with an aptitude for breaking down and solving problems.
  3. Able to deal with sensitive matters confidentially and tactfully.
  4. An excellent communicator (both written and verbal), able to distil and explain complex information and relate to key concepts.
  5. Personable and confident in project management and delegation of tasks.
