Job Title:

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Leader to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the cost, program, and technical aspects of projects.

They will lead a project team in financial, program, and safety aspects to ensure the site operates with the necessary resources to complete the project while managing costs and maximizing profit.

The Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage tasks in line with project requirements
  • Manage scope changes
  • Engage key subcontractors for project delivery
  • Coordinate the project delivery program
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and project budgets
  • Manage labour requirements in conjunction with the Labour Manager
  • Report on project status and attend client meetings
  • Document and administer projects through to closure
  • Reconcile project invoices to the budget
  • Liaise with clients
  • Support business development processes
The Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management in a commercial construction environment
  • Experience in coordinating contractors and trades
  • The ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and project stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage time constraints effectively
  • The ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve promptly
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Good leadership skills with the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam, with the ability to draft construction programs
