Job Description

This role involves providing Public Services as a Program Assistant Manager at Mathers and Criterion Houses, focusing on delivering high-quality Positive Ageing programs and services.

Key Duties
  1. Coordinate logistics for Positive Ageing activities, ensuring smooth execution of events and programs.
  2. Support community activities at Mathers Place, such as event coordination and support.
  3. Develop promotional materials that meet the organization's branding standards.
  4. Manage administrative tasks for Positive Ageing programs, including data entry, bookings, and receipts.
  5. Supervise volunteers during key events, collaborating with the Mathers House Coordinator.
  6. Handle public enquiries through various channels.
  7. Maintain accurate financial records, including till reconciliation and petty cash management.
  8. Coordinate bookings for Mathers and Criterion Houses, including inductions and calendar management.
  9. Collaborate with the Positive Ageing team to deliver successful programs and events.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or higher in Community Services, or equivalent extended practical experience in community sector facilities, programs, or projects.
  • Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
  • Valid Driver Licence.

Work schedule: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 12 pm to 5 pm.
