Job Overview

This role entails overseeing the daily management of large-scale solar plants, ensuring exceptional safety standards, quality performance, and environmental stewardship while optimizing project returns and value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement policies, processes, and procedures to guarantee compliance with all relevant procedural/legislative and contractual requirements.
  • Manage a portfolio of up to 5 sites with a combined capacity of approximately 1000MW.
  • Analyze system efficiencies and identify opportunities for improved performance to maximize total return for each asset.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with EPC & O&M contractors to optimize safe asset performance and operation.
Daily Operations
  • Provide guidance, encourage teamwork, and facilitate professional work processes to achieve high performance standards within the Asset Management organization.
  • Review and manage SPVs contracts for obligations and other contractual parties, including insurance.
Performance Monitoring
  • Monitor site performance and analyze potential optimization projects/actions.
  • Regularly review site performance on monitoring platforms.
  • Control financial budgets.

This role demands strong technical IT skills, process orientation, and knowledge of the Australian and global renewables market, particularly large-scale solar PV and battery storage.

A degree in a subject related to the renewable industry is required, along with at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the solar market.
