Senior Network Specialist

This is a challenging role for an expert network engineer who excels in collaborative, agile environments and thrives on the opportunity to build, maintain and expand complex networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the design, deployment and maintenance of a multi-city core network infrastructure.
  • Provide technical expertise on key projects and act as a point of escalation for complex issues.
  • Assist in training team members in advanced networking technologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop configuration templates and support new technology rollouts.
  • Participate in after-hours upgrades and on-call rotations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Juniper JunOS in production ISP or enterprise settings (JNCIA+ highly valued).
  • MikroTik RouterOS skills (experience ideal, training possible).
  • Strong understanding of OSPF, BGP, MPLS VPN, EVPN-VXLAN and other key networking protocols.
  • Knowledge of ISP core networking concepts including peering, transit, PPPoE, Radius and Netflow.
  • Experience working with carriers for fibre, L2 and DIA services.
Preferred Skills:
  • JNCIS-SP certification and experience with automation tools (Python, Ansible).
  • Fixed wireless design and deployment expertise.
  • Vendor exposure to Cambium, Ubiquiti and other relevant vendors.
