The estimated salary for this role is around $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Senior Test Automation Strategist, you will be responsible for assessing the current testing landscape, identifying improvement opportunities, and establishing a vision for test automation. This includes selecting and integrating suitable automation tools, developing a comprehensive automation strategy, and leading a team of engineers while effectively communicating with stakeholders across the organization to drive exceptional customer and employee experiences.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Establish a clear purpose, mission, and objectives aligned with the overall Telstra strategy through acting as a thought leader on market trends, innovations, and disruptions.
  2. Set and drive priorities and roadmap for the technical Capability portfolio for the group. Ensure coordination and alignment between other Groups through the QBR process.
  3. Take ownership for mitigation and removal of business and operational impediments for the Group.
  4. Ensure our technology and processes are designed, built, and maintained to have the capability to anticipate, prevent, detect, withstand, respond, and recover from any and all events securely, reliably and expediently.

  • Proven track record in implementing comprehensive testing strategies, utilizing industry-standard methodologies and testing frameworks to ensure software quality.
