As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in aged care, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional nursing services to our residents. Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing our innovative Household Model of care, which empowers our teams to support residents in maintaining their dignity and purpose. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and assessing personalized care plans for residents.
- Delivering clinical services, including wound care, medication management, and palliative support.
- Collaborating with medical professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Assisting the clinical management team with documentation and assessments.
- Providing guidance and support to Personal Care Workers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in registered nursing within aged or community care, or a strong desire to transition from broader health sectors into aged care.
- Possess qualities such as flexibility, empathy, resourcefulness, and excellent time management skills, while embodying Uniting's core values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness.
- Commitment to contemporary practices in aged care nursing.
- Hold a nursing degree and maintain current AHPRA registration.
