Human Resource Professional

We are seeking an Assistant Human Resources Consultant to join our People & Culture department.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in delivering timely and high-quality HR advice and consultancy to a designated site. Key responsibilities include:
- Recruitment and Selection: Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Classification Management: Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure accurate classification of roles and development of classification guidelines.
- Industrial Relations: Provide support in resolving workplace disputes and negotiations with employee unions.
- Training and Development: Assist in the design and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- HR Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organizational policies.
- Organizational Development: Contribute to the development of organizational strategies and initiatives to improve employee engagement and productivity.
- Workplace Health and Safety: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Employee Redeployment: Assist in the development and implementation of redeployment strategies to support employees transitioning to new roles.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
- High level of organizational and time management skills;
- Sound knowledge of HR principles and practices;
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality;
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in new areas.
