Finance Operations Specialist Job Share Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to collaborate with our existing team in finance on a part-time basis.

This role involves working collaboratively to share responsibilities and contribute to the continued success of our organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter invoices into our accounts processing system.
  • Maintain and organize supplier records.
  • Verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
  • Audit and process credit card bills according to company policies.
  • Address vendor inquiries and requests promptly.
  • Investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
  • Assist with general accounting tasks, including balance sheets and profit and loss reconciliations.
  • Support the Financial Controller and cover during team absences as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years' practical experience in an operational finance role.
  • A commitment to our cultural values: integrity, entrepreneurial creativity, excellence, and fun.
  • Experience with Australian payroll is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • A good understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
