Mechanical Fitter Position

As a Mechanical Fitter with Chelgrave Contracting Australia Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for performing scheduled inspections and condition assessments on machines, as well as carrying out preventative maintenance and identifying solving and remedying breakdown issues. You will maintain production plant and work with the operations team to communicate and provide detail of machine status.
About You:
We are seeking a trade-certified Mechanical Fitter with a post-trade qualification and minimum 3 years' post-trade experience. You will have sound breakdown and planned maintenance fitting knowledge, with previous experience in manufacturing highly regarded. Additionally, you should have knowledge of Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing strategies and initiatives, an analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving, and excellent communication skills. You will also have a keen interest in advanced technologies and a strong safety focus with a solid understanding of safe work practices.
