Job Title: Senior Production Coordinator

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and monitor the VIC Production Department to ensure efficient and effective schedule and production management methodologies are in place.
  • Monitor operational activity, identifying opportunities for increased volume and productivity through effective planning and optimisation strategies.
  • Implement a culture of accountability through performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure the departmental structure and roles within it are adequate to meet operational needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiencies, including Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodology.
  • Maintain a safe workplace environment and enforce Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures.
About You:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in production coordination, supervision or management, preferably in Fabrication or a similar field.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience, with knowledge of Six Sigma methodology.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, including stock and job management.
  • Quality Management System knowledge, including ISO activities.
  • People management experience, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented, self-driven and extremely reliable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to take the lead and make decisions, but also have the ability to delegate tasks effectively.
