Lead Regional Sales and Marketing

As a seasoned professional, you have the opportunity to drive business growth in our Australian market. Your primary responsibility is to lead and coach country sales and marketing teams to achieve long-term success with top-line growth and profitability.

Key objectives include:

  • Developing strategic sales, distribution, and marketing plans for existing and new customers with clear actionable targets for the team
  • Reporting on monthly sales and marketing development as well as qualitative and quantitative forecasting
  • Coaching and leading the sales and marketing team to develop strategic thinking, customer account management, and trusted customer relationships

Additionally, you will focus on optimizing distribution, expanding key channels, and driving Direct To Consumer (DTC) growth through digital platforms and Thule stores.

The position will be based in either Melbourne or Sydney with frequent travel to the other location. You will work closely with stakeholders and the team to manage the business effectively.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Extensive knowledge of key account management and leadership experience
  • Strong sales management skills, preferably in sports, outdoor, fashion, or SMCG industries
  • Excellent decision-making abilities based on analytics and strategic information
  • Strong relationship-building skills to influence and lead people
