Transformative Sustainability Professional

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transformative Sustainability Professional to join our Environment & Sustainability team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping policies and initiatives that reduce carbon emissions, promote renewable energy adoption, and enhance the overall environmental performance of the transport network.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Work with our Environment & Sustainability team to provide advice and assistance on a range of environmental and sustainability management, compliance and planning and assessment requirements.
  • Review and prepare environmental assessment documentation, providing technical advice and conducting field work when required on sites across the southeast of NSW.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, environmental engineering, sustainability, environmental planning or similar discipline.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Effective problem-solving ability with a willingness to work across a diverse range of projects.
  • Understanding of state and federal regulations relating to environmental practice, policies and procedures.
