Job Title: Support Worker for Individuals with Challenged Abilities

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide intensive training and support to individuals with challenged abilities within their own homes, the community, and Day Activity Centres.

The ideal candidate will possess high standard communication skills, including computer literacy and report writing. They should also have the ability to train and teach, work unsupervised, and as part of a team environment.

Required qualifications include a current driver's licence, access to a comprehensively insured motor vehicle, and a First Aid Certificate. NDIS Worker Clearance Screening is also mandatory.

Desirable criteria include knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Disability Service Standards, and relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III/IV in Disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support and training to participants with challenged abilities
  • Assist with personal care when required
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders to achieve participant goals
  • Contribute to a safe and respectful workplace environment
