Procurement Specialist Role

Elevate your career as a key player in sourcing and supply chain management for a prominent food manufacturer.

About the Position

A seasoned professional with 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably within the food industry or FMCG, is sought to lead end-to-end procurement operations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and manage supplier agreements to secure optimal supply continuity across production facilities and retail sites.
  • Develop and refine procurement policies and procedures to drive efficiency and cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with ESG and modern slavery reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate international import activities, including freight, cost calculations, and invoice management.
  • Maintain inventory levels aligned to production forecasts.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and supply chain enhancement.
  • Support new product development sourcing requirements and ERP item setup.
  • Lead and mentor a team, fostering capability growth and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement, ideally within food manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Proven success managing international supply chains and freight forwarders.
  • Excellent negotiation, sourcing, and contract management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, purchasing processes, and Excel.
  • Commercial acumen with strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Degree qualified in Business, Procurement, or related field.
