Cloud Architect Lead

 

We are seeking a seasoned cloud strategist to lead an enterprise client in building their cloud roadmap, driving innovation and efficiency through effective strategy implementation.

About the Role:

  • To steer complex future domain planning activities and projects, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks and approaches, leveraging expertise in public cloud platforms.
  • Oversee the implementation, deployment, and program management of Azure IaaS, PaaS technologies, maximizing ROI and minimizing risk.
  • Create SOW/BOM/architecture design documents based on customer requirements, ensuring clarity and precision.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 15 years of IT experience, with 6+ years as a senior architect and 5+ years of public cloud experience, demonstrating expertise and leadership skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of leading pre-post sales activities as a cloud architect, driving success and growth.
  • Proficiency in one of the public cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), with a solid understanding of cloud storage best practices, scripting, and security.

Technical Requirements:

  • Cloud networking, including virtual network designing, and automation using PowerShell and Azure automation.
  • A strong knowledge of cloud cost/billing propositions and open-source technologies used for native cloud applications.
  • Good understanding of microservices architecture (Kubernetes) and disaster recovery for workloads running in Azure.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mid-senior level experience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with architecture tools and excellent written skills.
  • Azure or AWS solution architect certification is required, with Togaf or any other architect certification being a plus.
