About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Project Engineer to join our fast-paced and high-performing team at Field Mining Services Group. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for taking ownership of projects from initial tendering to project closeout, providing onsite and office-based support, and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Provide onsite Project Engineering support, including cost control, Gantt updates, QA management, and technical engineering support.
  • Office-Based Support: Provide office-based Project Engineering support, including quoting, tendering, building Gantt charts, pad layouts, lift planning, and technical engineering support.
  • Process Improvement: Support our Project team to improve systems and site documentation.
  • Project Growth: Contribute to winning and successfully executing projects.
About You
  • Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Project Engineering experience and a desire to build skills in the project space.
  • Skills: Ability to perform basic engineering calculations, conceptual, analytical, and collaborative skills, and the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Computer Skills: Well-developed computer skills, including the use of word processing, MS Project, and spreadsheets.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Solid interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
