Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Phillip Island. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our Food and Beverage outlet, including recruitment, training, and management of staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management
    • Manage the day-to-day operation of the Food and Beverage outlet, including recruitment, training, and management of staff.
    • Coordinate schedules with projected workflow, within budget.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all guests have a positive experience.
    • Use of POS and effective management of customer interactions.
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and manage a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food and beverage products.
    • Lead a team of staff and coordinate breaks.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the financial aspects of the Food and Beverage outlet, including reconciliation of sales and banking.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Previous experience within a similar management position.
  • Skills
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to recognize and solve problems in the workplace.
    • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification.
    • Knowledge and understanding of OH&S and chemical handling.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Be a real 'people person' and genuinely enjoy getting to know people.
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, public and school holidays.
