Therapy Assistant

Key responsibilities include:
* Following designed care plans within the scope of practice as prescribed by the Registered Therapist
* Gaining a detailed understanding of the client's preferences and effectively communicating the team all relevant information/issues/concerns relating to clients' needs
* Being responsive to needs, concerns and suggestions made by the client and their family, ensuring that these are acted upon in a timely and appropriate manner
* Building highly supportive and positive relationships with the client, their family, referrers and colleagues
* Documenting treatments and maintaining up to date, clear and accurate client plans and records.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A team player with ability to manage and support varied priorities
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Demonstrated previous experience working in a similar role
* Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (preferred)
* Intermediate computer skills
Mandatory requirements for all candidates include:
* Evidence that you have had the Flu vaccine
* Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia
* Valid National Police Check/NDIS workers card
* Current First Aid and CPR Qualifications
