We are a global specialty printing company providing innovative packaging solutions to various markets worldwide. Our Melbourne site focuses exclusively on meeting the needs of its target market, leveraging state-of-the-art equipment and exceptional people.

A full-time position is available for a Print Finisher – Digicon Specialist producing high-end labels. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating and maintaining Digicon V2 and V3 for self-adhesive material
  • Producing a variety of printed products using inline finishing systems with multiple embellishments and complex print requirements
  • Loading substrate into unwind units
  • Mixing inks and solvents for standard operations and regulating substrate and ink during print runs
  • Preparing plates, blankets, screens, and impression cylinders
  • Monitoring and evaluating press operations manually and by computer to check print quality standards against proofs and detect defects
  • Ensuring final registration, die cut, and printing quality
  • Troubleshooting print errors
  • Performing maintenance, adjustments, repairs, and cleaning of machines
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
  • Washing up of press and associated equipment

The successful applicant will receive training but should demonstrate:

  • Experience running a print finishing machine, preferably a Digicon
  • Stability, commitment, and eagerness to learn
  • An eye for detail
  • A positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a team, follow instructions, and work unsupervised
  • Good communication skills (reporting to Team Leader and Production Manager)
  • Demonstrated desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High motivation and quick learning capabilities
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends
  • Good computer skills

Previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry is highly regarded.
