Aircraft Avionics Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Avionics Specialist to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft avionics and electrical systems.

  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on aircraft electronics, including communication, navigation, radar, and autopilot systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex avionics issues, utilizing technical documentation and troubleshooting techniques
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections of electrical and avionics systems to ensure airworthiness
  • Develop and implement avionics modifications and upgrades in accordance with manufacturer and regulatory guidelines
  • Analyze wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering documents to diagnose system issues
  • Compile accurate maintenance records and logbooks, documenting all work performed
  • Collaborate with flight crews to guarantee all avionics systems operate within safety parameters
  • Calibrate and test avionics instruments to verify proper operation
  • Mentor junior technicians in the completion of their tasks
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with strict safety and regulatory standards
Required Skills:
  • Holding a valid EASA Part 66 B2 License or equivalent recognized by local aviation authorities
  • Detailed knowledge of aircraft electrical, electronics, and avionics systems, including communication, navigation, and autopilot systems
  • Minimum of three years' experience in aircraft avionics maintenance or modifications
  • Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with avionics equipment
  • Able to interpret complex wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Proficient in using electrical testing equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to function under pressure in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines
