Mental Health Drug Alcohol Education Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to promote a learning culture and support innovative practice across the mental health drug and alcohol portfolio. As a role model, you will act as an appropriate and effective educator promoting high-quality teaching and facilitation skills in individual or group settings using the practice development framework.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Current Authority to practice as a registered nurse with AHPRA
- Holds a relevant clinical or educational post-registration qualification or 3 years clinical experience in mental health nursing and education
- High level communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of teaching and facilitation in adult learning principles within healthcare
- Demonstrated clinical teaching and facilitation skills in individual or group settings using the practice development framework
- Knowledge of competency attainment and assessment processes
- Computer literacy including planning documents, reporting schedules and Excel; knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Word; ability to use hospital systems to pull data for educational resources
- Clean and current driving license and ability to travel as required
