System Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled System Specialist to join our team. As a System Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering through-life asset management of Products being supported (PBS) and optimizing availability and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while minimizing risk.

  • You will conduct system Reliability and Front-End Logistic Support Analysis including Maintenance Requirements Determination (MRD) analysis on systems operations based on operator usage and training factors.
  • Your role will involve designing and/or researching subsystem interfaces to ensure that subsystems are integrated and work together to form a viable complete system.
  • You will perform functional analysis of a system to ensure it meets performance criteria and mission constraints.
  • As a System Specialist, you will execute engineering assignments under the direction and guidance of higher-level engineers.
  • You will carry out predetermined concepts and procedures for equipment or interface design, testing, construction, and installation.
Requirements:
  • You must have 6-10 years of relevant experience in systems engineering within the Defence maritime domain.
  • Additionally, you should have 3-5 years of relevant experience in Integrated Logistics Support within the Defence maritime domain.
  • Experience in Logistic Support Analysis within the Defence maritime domain is also required.
  • You should possess technical proficiency in Systems Operations.
  • Navy Technical Risk Management experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a team environment are essential.
  • You must be eligible for ITAR clearance of relevant ship systems.
