About the Role:
- Assist with the administration of estates, wills, and lasting powers of attorney (LPAs)
- Maintain databases and records
- Send communications to beneficiaries and co-executors
- Raise invoices and take fees
- Monitor the shared mailbox for tasks and general queries
- Making distributions to the beneficiaries
- Liaising with other teams within the business on new business
- Reconciliation of estate accounts
- Preparing draft wills
- Drafting LPAs
- Creation of tax certificates
- Liaising with the Tax team and providing them with information
- Other administration of estates and wills as needed
Candidate Profile:
- Previous administration experience
- Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive family situations
- Diligent and thorough individual who can work unsupervised
- Able to prioritise work and be organised
- Interest in developing knowledge in estates and trusts administration
- Basic knowledge of wills and estates law, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and accounting principles advantageous
