Job Title: Residential Carpenter

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled carpenter to fill this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Construct and install structural elements including framing, and subfloors, ensuring all parts are level and correctly aligned.
  • Read architectural drawings, designs, blueprints to construct and build structures and buildings.
  • Build, install, renovate, or repair various fixtures and frameworks using timber, metal, and composite panels.
  • Attach fascia boards, secure external cladding, and install windows and door frames.
  • May build concrete formwork.
  • Sources and organises timber and construction materials, setting out initial layouts accordingly.
  • Shapes and trims components, joins them with fixings, and assembles them into position.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in residential building and renovations, with a certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent.
