Melbourne Technical Specialist Position Overview

The Melbourne Technical Specialist position is responsible for delivering effective technical support for all staff and students. Key responsibilities include desktop, iPad and laptop support, hardware and software troubleshooting, printers, data projectors, desktop software, basic networking, Windows and MacOS.

The position requires an individual with strong communication skills, who can work autonomously, demonstrate initiative, and collaborate as part of a team. Demonstrated experience and skills include:

  1. Minimum of two years' experience within an IT Support Technician position
  2. Great communication skills
  3. Ability to work autonomously, show initiative as well as working in a team
  4. Familiarity with AV equipment such as data projectors and audio systems an advantage

Reporting to the ICT Manager, the successful candidate will attend meetings as necessary and maintain regular office hours from 8:00am until 4:20pm.
