**Role Overview**

The Disability Programs Coordinator plays a pivotal role within the Participation Pillar, driving initiatives that promote disability sports and inclusion. This position demands exceptional organizational and communication skills, enabling effective management of multiple programs and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate program delivery for disability sports in educational institutions
  • Collaborate with participating schools and report on program outcomes to key partners and stakeholders
  • Organize end-of-term or year celebrations and activities for Disability Programs
  • Oversee all aspects of Disability Programs, including facility bookings, team allocation, marketing materials, safeguarding, equipment, reporting, and expense management
  • Ongoing review and enhancement of Disability Programs throughout the year
  • Support Foundation activities and initiatives at home events

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or placement
  • Tertiary qualification in sport, sport management, disability sport, or a related field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Current paid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current Sports First Aid (or equivalent) and CPR certification
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and meet deadlines
  • Proven communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including working with schools, community organizations, and internal teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding and child safety protocols
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to complete reporting and program administration tasks efficiently
