Electrical Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and ITS Inspector to join our team in Brisbane and the greater QLD region. As an Electrical and ITS Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting the construction of Electrical and Intelligent Transport Systems assets for roadworks projects to Transport and Main Roads' quality specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Use comprehensive knowledge of TMR policies, standards, and specifications to read, understand, and interpret technical documents and standards.
- Prepare written documents, including daily diaries, submissions, reports, and test results.
- Communicate with contractors, contract administrators, senior engineers, or principal representatives to keep them informed of progress and quality of works.
- Provide effective administration, surveillance, and recording of documentation generated during construction, including photos.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' extensive practical experience in road construction projects and at least 5 years as an Electrical and ITS Inspector.
Requirements:- Computer skills in Microsoft Windows operating system, MS Word, MS Excel, file management, and email.
- A driver's license and access to own transport to/from home to site.
- Preference for own laptop and mobile phone.
- Preference will be given to someone already living in SEQLD or willing to relocate there.
