Tailings Engineer Role

The role of a Tailings Engineer is to deliver best practice consulting services to clients, enhance their capabilities and the reputation of the Mine Advisory team.

This position will see you collaborate with talented professionals working on iconic projects to drive future-ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality technical deliverables such as proposals and reports.
  • Undertake design assessments, including stability and seepage analyses, utilizing laboratory testing results and developing defensible soil strength parameters.
  • Develop designs for tailings storage facilities and other earth structures.
  • Assist with project planning and preparation of technical deliverables.
  • About You:
  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil or Mining Engineering.
  • Proven working experience on tailings-related projects locally or internationally, ideally in a consulting environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions.

  1. Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil or Mining Engineering.
  2. Work Experience: Proven working experience on tailings-related projects locally or internationally, ideally in a consulting environment.
